ving the performance of soccer players with our revolutionary tracker , the Meteor. We combine cutting-edge technology with our passion for soccer to help all players analyze their physical and technical statistics.
Our mission is to help footballers reach their full potential by providing them with accurate, actionable performance data. We believe in the importance of statistical analysis to help players progress, set goals and motivate themselves. Our values are Passion, Diversity and Excellence.
Our history
Footbar was founded by two young engineers, Sylvain Ract and Loïc Manent, who created the Meteor tracker to measure soccer performance. The idea came to life with the support of Jacques D'Arrigo, former director at Nike and Girondins de Bordeaux. A partnership with Decathlon made the product widely accessible, and the launch of our app allowed players to track stats and join performance rankings. In 2022, Stéphane Martin, former president of Girondins de Bordeaux, became CEO. Footbar is now expanding internationally, including in the Netherlands, Spain, Brazil, Singapore and the UAE.

Over the years, Meteor has evolved considerably, reducing its size while dramatically improving its accuracy and user experience, making it today an essential reference in data analysis for soccer fans. Powered by artificial intelligence that ingests millions of technical gestures, Meteor delivers more accurate data at every moment, offering a cutting-edge solution for soccer enthusiasts wishing to benefit from precise, reliable information.
